People get frustrated, aggravated and just plain mad at the way businesses treat them. Now add the irritating list of choices given on the prerecorded phone message, the way the company conveniently leaves out the option for speaking with a customer service rep, the annoying and excessive wait time, and when a person finally picks up, you’re so mad and aggravated that you just start screaming. Nothing gets accomplished and you just spent the better part of your day being annoyed. The company could care less.

I found out long ago the real secret to getting cooperation is simply patience and facts. That’s how you win the battles. Sometimes you have to be willing to climb the ladder until you get someone that is at least willing to listen.
